Our Favourite Annerley Op Shops

Here at Little Clive Cafe, we enjoy spending our time checking out the local Op shops of Annerley.  As lifelong Op shoppers we thought it would be apt to let our followers know our two cents on the matter.

Here is our list of our favourite vintage and Op shops in the local area. Simply grab a coffee and breakfast from Little Clive and walk to the following spots.

In no particular order, here are our favourite shops in the local area.

1. Save The Children

This is one of our favourite Op shops. Plenty of stock in store which rotates on a weekly basis. A clothes lovers haven for designer goods and books. We have found some seriously decent bargains here - think a Lover velvet shirt for $3, Karen Walker dresses for $8…. Need we say more? Our Head Chefs favourite for homewares.

2. Asthma Foundation

The friendliest staff in town, you’ll love the passion the team puts into showing off their favourite fashion ensembles in the window. If you’re on the lookout for crockery items and clothes, you’d be crazy not to stop here.

3. Lifeline (Vintage Revival)

Punk, 50s, 60s, 70’s, 80s… these guys have it all. Keep an eye out for their sales to grab yourself some bargains (check out the 28th of July - 50% off sale!). Your go to place to find killer costumes or to shop if you feel like you were supposed to be born in another era. The staff are always more than happy to help you on your shopping quest.

4. Yesterday’s Thrift Shop

A great place to go if you are looking for bigger ticket items as they have more room for furniture and household goods. Always a luck of the draw and always an authentic mystery as to what will be in stock.

5. Vintage Collective

These guys know how to find the perfect quality piece. Modern glamour is an understatement. The team live and breathe for designer, quality fashion. Check out their online store here.

6. Southside Antiques Market

This is THE place to go if you are looking for some amazing vintage collectables.  With over 150 cabinets of goodies to choose from make sure you stop by to check it out or shop online. The team her are experts and will point you in the right direction. Plenty of bedazzling jewellery, collectors items and authentic era clothes.

Special shout out to the following nearby Op Shops which are in driving distance.

New Menu Now Available

We're excited to announce that we have launched a new menu at Little Clive! Available 7 days a week there is no excuse to not come in and taste it.

We've been fortunate to use local produce businesses in the menu, such as 888 Bees who produce local raw honey from hives across Brisbane.

You'll also find our love affair with Japanese cuisine throughout the menu. Ever present in dishes such as our Miso Waffles with Karaage chicken, wakame, bonito and sesame mayo and the Oishii Salad with white sesame, soba noodles, radish, carrot and miso.

This menu is all about sharing with our supportive customers. We have continued to make delicious, honest food we ourselves love to eat. Head Chef Steve Findlay describes it as "good food for good people". It's a menu Steve Findlay (Head Chef) and Sheldon Crabb (Sous Chef) have poured their heart and soul into. Every day you'll find the team making exceptional food out of our little restaurant.

Erin from our front of house team has created a complimentary drinks menu offering both deliciously healthy and indulgent options.
